iGaming specialists organized an annual award ceremony, where the Pentasia Champions League was declared as a clamorous success. Their glory, in top spot out of 22 sides from the IT sectors and the online gaming, was covered in the Swedish outfit Bettson Malta.
During the league campaign, which last seven months, 462 matches were played. Many famous names were competing, such as Betfair, Expekt, Interwetten and others.
The league's Fair Play Award went to 6PM, and besides, there were good news for Scandinavian supporters like Danes Casino.dk, that won the Pentasia Cup, while OnDNet lost.
Pentasia's Mediterranean director, Chris Vella, who organized the league, claimed that the main reason for setting up the league was the growing number of football-hungry amateur players.
The IT business and online gaming employees in Malta were enthusiasts and that's why there has been organized a proper league and an administrative structure.
According to Vella, next year the campaign will be even better than it was this year, and in the meantime he wants to thank to all those who made the this year's edition such a big success. This year there has been 22 teams and there are already nine more that want to participate next year on the league.
Besides, Vella wanted also to thank the members of the committee who helped a lot without wanting anything back.
